This studio apartment is situated on the 5th and top floor (considered 4th by Europeans) of a walk-up building in Les Halles, in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. Dating back to the 18th century, the building features an intercom security system and the apartment has two balconies on opposite ends, making the most of its east-west exposure.

The beautiful balconies, with potted evergreens and flowers, overlook the pedestrian streets below. The larger one has a wooden patio table, four matching chairs, and a sunshade; it faces the elaborate roof and towers of the Church of Saint-Leu-Saint Giles, located right across the street. The smaller balcony offers lovely views of neighboring buildings with typical Parisian rooftops.

Inside, the ceilings are lined with exposed beams, which pair nicely with the hardwood floors and wooden cabinetry. The living area is furnished with a double bed and a unique wooden loveseat, facing the open kitchen.
