A quiet street of a nice residential district but very central, this neighborhood has a few designer shops, nice restaurants and all convenient stores in the lively rue des Martyrs. This street is at the corner of the Place Saint Georges, a very cute place with beautiful
buildings all around it, a sculpture at it's center and a little park.
It is at a short walking distance from Montmartre, Place de Clichy and further down, the Grands Boulevards (composed of boulevards named de la Madeleine, des Italiens, St-Martin, des Capucines, Montmartre, Poissonnière, St-Denis, Bonne-Nouvelle), where all the major department stores are, cinemas and restaurants and at a short distance from the Opera Garnier. The subway leads directly to the left bank and Saint Germain des Près.
This studio apartment is located in the courtyard of a six floors building. There is an elevator and a security system with a digicode and an intercom. This apartment is a sort of a little house. The layout is as followed.
The french windowed entrance door opens on the rectangular kitchen that leads to the room with the bathroom right away to the left. The kitchen has brown tiled floors, white walls and a window. The bathroom has brown tile in a "tommette" style, white walls, partly tiled. There is washbasin surmounted by a white cabinet with a mirror, a toilet and a bathtub. The room has white walls a beige carpet and two big windows, with white and grey curtains and a view on the courtyard.
It is furnished with a full size bed, a white cupboard (with closet and wardrobe space), a mirror, a bedside table, a wooden dining table with two wooden armchairs, bookshelves, a television upon a little wooden table, a small stereo system and lamps.
The nearest subway station is Saint Georges (Line 12).
