A modern one bedroom apartment in the famous Bastille Area

This apartment is located a few steps away from the historic Place de la Bastille near Rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine. It is situated close from the Bastille area with its many entertainment options such as its new Opera House, many cinemas, gorgeous restaurants and nice pubs regularly and mostly frequented by artists and young people. In a five minutes metro distance is the Marais area with the royal Place des Vosges, the oldest and most beautiful square, known for museums, arts galleries and antique shops. In the neighborhood there are number of traditional restaurants, cafes, and open-air markets such as the one on Place d'Aligre. All other sorts of services are easily found in the whole neighborhood. The one bedroom apartment is situated on the fourth floor of a 1920's walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a security system and an intercom. It has a double exposure: east and west exposed and faces the street on one side and a on the courtyard the other side. The layout is as followed. The entrance door opens on a hall, which leads to the right to the bathroom with toilets, straight ahead to the bedroom and on the left to the living room with its open kitchen. All the walls are painted in white and there are wooden floors in every room. The living room is nicely decorated with a contemporary way. It has five windows with beige curtains, which overlook the street on one side and the quiet courtyard on the other side. It is furnished with a comfortable sofa bed, a six meters long and low bookcase, armchairs, a coffee table, a stereo, a TV with cable, a telephone and Internet (ADSL). There is also a large modern dining table with its 6 matching chairs and some design lamps. The bedroom has two windows, which overlook the street. It is furnished a double bed, two bedside tables, a large built-in closet and low shelves. This room is decorated in the same spirit than the living room with some contemporary pictures and a design lamp. The open kitchen is separated from the living room by an open dividing wall. It is equipped with a microwave oven, a dishwasher, an electric oven, four electric burners, a fridge and separate freezer, a sink, a coffee maker and toaster. There are necessary utensils. The bathroom has a wooden floor and beige tiled walls. It is equipped with a bathtub with a handheld showerhead and toilet. There is also a washer-dryer washing machine (laundry). This spacious and modern one bedroom apartment is very nice and convenient for discovering the lively neighborhood and the famous Bastille area. The nearest subway station is Ledru Rollin (line 8) and a little further Bastille (Line 1, 5, 8).
