An elegant one bedroom apartment in the Marais area
|
This one bedroom apartment is located in a little street of the nearby Marais area. This lively and historical area is known for its pre-Revolution architecture enclosing a substantial number of points of interest.
It is also very close from the Place de la Bastille (two metro stations) where there is a great choice off restaurants, cafes as well as the famous Opera de la Bastille.
The district is friendly and cosmopolitan and there are all sorts of essential shops and services in the neighborhood.
This cozy one-bedroom apartment is situated on the second floor of a well-maintained walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a digicode security system.
The layout is as followed.
The entrance door leads directly on the open kitchen and the living room. From the living room, a door on the left opens to the bedroom. The bathroom is accessible thru the bedroom.
The elegant living room has a brown-parqueted floor and white walls. The widow has brown shutters and overlooks a courtyard. Since this room is decorated with antiques and some modern decorative items and paintings it has a friendly atmosphere.
It is furnished with a brown sofa bed, a wooden coffee table, a little round bistro table with its two red velvet chairs, a leather armchair and a wooden art-deco sideboard, with a nice stereo system, dishes and crockery inside.
The bedroom is parqueted as well and has white painted walls. The window has original curtains and overlooks the courtyard. The decoration of this room is more contemporary than the rest of the apartment with its modern painting and its red lamp. It is furnished with a queen size bed and a large closet with mirrors on the sliding doors.
The open kitchen is both convenient and elegant. It has white-tiled walls and floor and a wooden worktop matching with the sideboard. It is decorated with a red rug and some decorative items upon a shelf above the worktop. It is also well equipped with a refrigerator, two electrics burners, a dishwasher, a coffee maker and a microwave oven.
The bathroom is totally tiled in white. It has a bathtub with a showerhead, a design washbasin surmounted by an antique mirror and a toilet. It is equipped with a washer and a dryer and decorated with little cactus trees.
This charming apartment is perfect to discover this lively and historical area of Paris.
The closest metro station is St Sebastien Froissart (line 8).
