An authentic Parisian studio in two steps from the Canal St Martin
|
This apartment is close to the Canal Saint Martin and its promenade. A charming park, the square Villemin is located down the street. The neighborhood gathers many shops and restaurants, all the facilities can be found at the corner of the street. Since a few years this neighborhood is of the new rising areas of Paris. It combines the traditional charm of the canal, the mix of cultures of its inhabitants, the convenience of its closeness to the central Place de la République and the trendy wind of creation in diverse fields such as fashion, gastronomy or arts and craft.
This studio apartment is situated on the 4th floor of a 19th century building. It faces the courtyard (south-West exposure). The building has a security system (digicode).
The layout is as followed.
The entry door opens on a hallway, which leads to the separate kitchen and the bathroom. A door opens on the bedroom/living room, straight ahead from the entrance door.
The bedroom /living room has white painted walls and a wall-to-wall carpet. The window faces the street and has white net curtains and exterior shutters. It is furnished with a double bed, a table, a TV, two wooden bookshelves and an antique wooden cabinet. There is also a rug, lamps and decorative items.
The kitchen is convenient and has white walls and a brown tiled floor. It is equipped with two electric burners, a microwave, an electric oven and a small refrigerator. There are shelves with all the necessary utensils. The dining area is furnished with a table with two folding chairs and a foam chair that unfolds into a floor bed.
The bathroom is small but well arranged. It is totally tiled, with white walls and gray floor. It is equipped with a shower, a washbasin surmounted by a mirror and a toilet.
The nearest metro station is Jacques Bonsergent (L10).
