A spacious one-bedroom apartment in the Saint Germain area
|
This one-bedroom apartment is located in a small selected street in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Près. One of the most attractive and historic districts of the Seine River's Left Bank, here also are number of selected restaurants and historic cafes such as Les Deux Magots and Café de Flore, favorite haunts of famous French existentialists and expatriated American writers. Just beside is the new Marché Saint Germain (Fashion Market) and a few steps away rue de Buci features a special atmosphere with its open-air market. The neighborhood is also very famous for its refined art galleries and designers' fashion shops. Finally it is at a walking distance from the Ile de la Cité and the Ile Saint Louis.
This spacious apartment is located on the third floor of an antique recessed building from the 17th century, in a nice and calm courtyard. The apartment has a western exposure. It has a digicode security system as well as a concierge.
The layout is as followed.
The entrance door opens on a hall, which leads to the kitchen by the left and straight ahead to the spacious living room. In the living room, a door gives an access to the charming bedroom.
The bathroom is accessible thru the bedroom.
Right away, the entrance hall gives a welcoming atmosphere. It is furnished with an antique style cupboard and there is a large walking closet.
The living room has hard wood floors and white painted walls. The three windows overlook the very calm courtyard and have white net curtains and khaki curtains. This room is very large and really bright. The impression of wideness is one of the most appealing aspects of this apartment. It is furnished with a sofa bed, an antique style sofa, a wooden coffee table, a round dining table with its six matching chairs, a cupboard, a cable TV with its DVD player and some bookshelves. This room is well decorated with a large antique mirror, some paintings and lamps. There is a well-balanced mix of style in the decoration that makes this room a nice place to live in.
The bedroom is both warm and spacious. It is decorated in the same spirit as the living room with its hard wood floors and its white walls. The window opens on the silent courtyard.
It is furnished with a double bed with its two matching bedside table and a nice wooden chest of drawers matching with the other furniture. There is also a walking closet and a built-in closet.
The kitchen is both convenient and stylish in a contemporary way with its white walls, dark tiled floor and its matching black worktop. The small bay window faces the courtyard.
It is equipped with four vitro ceramic plates, a microwave oven, a refrigerator, a freezer, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, and a laundry machine. There are all necessary utensils in the shelves and in the different cabinets.
The bathroom is in the same style than the rest of the apartment. It is completely tiled in white. It is equipped with a shower, a bathtub, a single washbasin surmounted by a cabinet with a mirror. The toilet is separated from the rest of the bathroom by a sliding door.
This apartment gives a spacious impression with its mix of antique a contemporary style and refined touches of decoration. It is perfect to discover the lively and selected neighborhood of Saint Germain des Près.
The heating and water heater are individual and electric.
The nearest metro station is St Germain des Près.
