A one Bedroom apartment in the Invalides area
|
Neighborhood: This apartment is located not far from the famous Eiffel Tower and the "Hotel des Invalides" built in 1670 by Louis XIV to provide housing for 4000 disabled veterans. Also close-by is the Military School that faces the "Champs de Mars" named after the mythological Roman god of war. Less than a 10 minute walk is the Montparnasse district with its many shops, restaurants, cinemas and the famous skyscraper "Maine Tower".
Premises: This one-bedroom apartment is located on the fourth floor of the well-maintained 18th century building equipped with a three security systems (two digicode and an intercom) and an elevator. There is also a concierge. The apartment faces the well-known Avenue de Suffren.
The entrance door opens onto a hallway. On left is the bedroom, straight-ahead is the living room and the bathroom with a separate toilet is on the right. The kitchen is accessible thru the living room.
The living room has a wooden floor and white painted walls with moldings. The two windows facing two streets that have beige net curtains. It is furnished in a modern style. There is a sofa bed (double size), a glass round dining table with four matching chairs, and a cupboard containing a cable TV, VCR, the phone/fax and a stereo. There is also a built-in closet, which contains the dishes. The living room has an Internet connection.
There is a mobile A/C.
The kitchen which is accessible through the living room is separated by a white net curtain. It is equipped with four electric burners, a little dishwasher, an electric oven, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment and a laundry machine (combo washer / dryer).
The bedroom has also wooden floor and white painted walls. The double-glazed window has white and blue net curtains and exterior shutters. It faces the Avenue and offers a view of the Eiffel Tower. It is furnished with a double size bed, one bedside table with a lamp, a large closet and two chairs.
The bathroom is small but convenient. The walls are tiled in brown with a linoleum floor, which matches the walls. There is a washbasin, a mirror and a bathtub with a shower.
The separate toilet has white painted walls and the same linoleum floor as the bathroom.
The nearest metro stations are Segur (Line 10) or Sevres Lecourbe (line 6).
The heat and the water-heater are both individual and electric
