A cosy one bedroom apartment close to Les Invalides
|
Neighborhood:
One of the most revered French monuments is the Hotel Royal des Invalides. It was built during the reign of King Louis XIV and is a masterpiece of seventeenth century architecture. It is home to the Army Museum, the Museum of Contemporary History, the Libération Association Museum, and the Plans Relieves Museum. The apartment is close to the Eiffel Tower, the Champ de Mars with its beautiful floral gardens, the Seine River, and to Trocadero Place. The entire neighborhood offers elegant fashion boutiques and convenience shops, as well as a number of select restaurants and cafes.
Premises:
This 25m˛ one-bedroom apartment is located on the first floor (second floor in the USA) of a well-maintained 19th century building. The building's main entrance gate is protected by a security system. This gate opens onto a corridor, which leads to the courtyard. A wooden staircase goes up to the apartment.
Layout:
The entrance door opens directly into the living room with its open-kitchen (on the left from the entrance). On the right there is a door that leads to the bedroom. The bathroom is accessible thru the bedroom.
The 11m˛ living room is decorated in a contemporary style and has one window, which overlooks the courtyard and has interior shutters. It is furnished with a double sofa bed, a modern dining table with four matching chairs, and a cupboard containing a TV. Connections to the cable and Internet are available upon request.
The open-kitchen is equipped with four electric burners, a refrigerator, a microwave oven and a toaster. There is also a combo washer / dryer.
The bedroom maintains the same decor as the living room. The two windows overlooks the courtyard and can be covered by red curtains. It is furnished with a double bed and two cabinets.
The bathroom has a shower closed by sliding doors and a washbasin with a mirror. The toilet is not separate.
High speed Internet Access is available.
The closest metro station is Tour Maubourg (Line 8)
The heat and the water-heater are both individual and electric.
Smoking and pets are not permitted.
