A charming one-bedroom apartment in the most selected area of Paris, The Marais
|
Live and historical central area, the Marais has a unique atmosphere due to its pre-Revolution architecture, enclosing a substantial number of points of interest such as museums, art galleries, designer shops, as well as diverse types of trendy bars and restaurants. Also in this area is the royal Place des Vosges famous and hailed for the harmony of its architecture, where, at number 6 lived the world famous French novelist Victor Hugo. Surrounded by all sorts of convenience shops, this area is both at a short distance from the Seine River and the Bastille Place.
This very charming one bedroom apartment is located on the third floor of a well-maintained building from the 19th century, in a nice and calm courtyard. The staircase to access to the apartment is kind of tight and narrow. The apartment has a southern exposure. It has a digicode security system as well as an intercom.
The layout is as follow.
The entrance door opens on the open-kitchen and the living room. On the right a little hallway leads to the bathroom and to the bedroom.
The living room has a wall-to-wall sisal carpet and purple and white painted walls. The two windows overlook the street. It is furnished with a single sofa bed, a purple velvet sofa, two yellow armchairs, a dark coffee table and a black rug. It is well equipped with a cable TV, a VCR, DVD player and a nice sound system.
A high speed Internet connection is available.
The open kitchen has a sisal wall-to-wall carpet and white painted walls. It is equipped with a traditional oven, four vitro-ceramic burners, a dishwasher and a refrigerator with freezer compartment.
The bedroom has blue and white wallpaper and a sisal wall-to-wall carpet. The window opens on the courtyard. It is furnished with a queen size bed, two closets, a wooden chest with upon it a yellow TV and a antique style desk with its matching chair.
The bathroom is totally tiled in white and in different shade of blue. It is equipped with a shower, a washbasin surmounted by a mirror and a toilet.
Smokers and Pets are welcomed.
The heating and the water electric are electric and individual.
The nearest station metro is Hotel de Ville (Line 1).
