A modern one bedroom apartment near the famous place de la Bastille
|
Neighborhood:
Located near the Place de la Bastille and Rue de Lappe, with its numerous cafes, restaurants, and other services. Near by is Rue de la Roquette, which is frequented most often by young people. The heart of this area is the historic Place de la Bastille with its Opéra House, which was inaugurated at the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution. A ten-minute walk away is Place des Vosges, known for its art galleries, expensive antique shops and also for the famous French novelist Victor Hugo's residence at # 6. It is still possible to visit his apartment and the room where he wrote his novels. In the neighborhood there are number of traditional restaurants, cafes, and open-air markets such as the Place d'Aligre, and a second one on Rue Richard Lenoir. All other sorts of services are easily found throughout the neighborhood.
Premises:
This 52m² studio apartment is located on the second floor (third in USA) of a recently constructed building. The main entrance gate is protected by a code system and by an intercom. The gate opens onto a hall, which leads up a flight of stairs to the two elevators.
Layout:
The apartment's entrance door opens onto a central hall. On the left are the bathroom and a separate toilet; and straight-ahead is the living room. The living room is divided into two parts by a wall. The first part is the living area and the second is the sleeping area. The kitchen is accessible thru the living area.
The 20m² living area has a bay widow overlooking a courtyard and can be covered by net curtains and interior electric shutters. It is furnished in a contemporary style with a double size sofa bed, two armchairs, a coffee table, a glass round table with its chairs, a cupboard and some plants.
The 10m² bedroom area is furnished with a queen size bed, two cupboards and a desk. This area is also equipped with a cable TV, a DVD player and with a high speed Internet connection.
The kitchen is stylish in a contemporary way. It is equipped with a three induction burners, a microwave oven, a dishwasher, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment and a coffee maker.
The white tiled bathroom is equipped with a washbasin and a shower cabin. There are also laundry machines (washer and dryer).
The separate toilet is also tiled.
The hallway and the entrance hall have built-in closets.
The nearest metro station is Bastille (line 1,5,8).
Heat and hot water are both central.
