Neighborhood: Les Halles area. It is close to the pedestrian Montorgueil street , with its large choice of quality food products, restaurants and cafes, as well as other services. It is also very close to the Beaubourg modern art museum, the rue des Lombards Jazz clubs and of course the large underground mall of les Halles. It is also in a short walking distance to main points of interest such as the Seine River, to the Notre Dame Cathedral on Ile de la Cité, to the unique Ile Saint Louis, and to the majestic Louvre Museum. From its adjoining Jardin des Tuileries, one of the historic most known parks in Paris there is a fine perspective - the alignment of the Obelisk on Place de la Concorde, the Champs Elysée and the Arc de Triomphe in one direction. The Arc de Triomphe du Carroussel and the glass' pyramid of the Louvre in the other. It is a central area, very convenient to travel all around Paris. Premises: This 22m² studio apartment is located on the 6th and last floor of a walk-up building dating back from the end of the 19th century. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system. Layout: The entrance door opens directly onto the living room. The bathroom (without door) is accessible through the living room and is located behind the kitchen. The 15m² living / sleeping room has one window overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double size bed, a cable TV with its VCR and DVD players, a stereo and an antique style desk and a cabinet. The open kitchen is equipped with two electric burners, a microwave oven, a small fridge, a coffee maker, a washer and a toaster. The bathroom has a bathtub, a washbasin and a toilet. The nearest metro station is Les Halles (line 1,4,7,11,14 & RER A,B,D). Heat and hot water are electric and individually metered.
