A spacious studio close to Rue Montorgeuil
|
Neighborhood:
Les Halles is centrally located, very convenient to travel all around Paris. It is close to the pedestrian Rue Montorgueil, with its large choice of quality food products, restaurants and cafes, as well as other conveniences. It is also near the Beaubourg National Museum of Modern Art, the Rue des Lombards, jazz clubs and, of course, the large underground mall of Les Halles. It is also short walking distance to main points of interest such as the Seine River, the Notre Dame Cathedral on Ile de la Cité, the unique Ile Saint Louis, and the majestic Louvre Museum and the Jardin du Palais Royal. From the adjoining Jardin des Tuileries, one of the most historic parks in Paris, there is a stirring perspective - the alignment of the Obelisk on Place de la Concorde, the Champs Elysée and the Arc de Triomphe in one direction, and the Arc de Triomphe du Carroussel and the glass pyramid of the Louvre in the other.
Premises:
This 70m² (approx. 750 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the third floor (fourth in the USA) of the well-maintained 19th century walk up building equipped with two security systems (a digicode and an intercom).
Layout:
The entrance door opens into the living room. Straight ahead there is a kitchen, and the bathroom with a toilet is on the right.
The studio is divided into two parts. The 38m² (approx. 405 sq. ft.) living room area has three windows facing the street. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, a wooden square coffee table, two matching armchairs, another chair, a console with a TV, a table with a stereo, a phone and some lamps.
The 13m² (approx. 135 sq. ft.) bedroom area has one window, which overlooks the street. It is furnished with a double size bed, one bedside table and two lamps.
The open kitchen has one window overlooking the street. It is equipped with two electric burners, a dining table with six chairs, a microwave oven and a refrigerator.
There is a built-in closet between the kitchen and the living room.
The bathroom has a tub with a showerhead, a washbasin and a toilet.
The nearest metro stations are Sentier (L3), Les Halles (L1,4,7,11; RER A,B,D), Etienne Marcel (L4).
The heat and the water-heater are collective.
