Neighborhood: This is a quiet residential street a few steps from rue Raymond Losserand with its fresh food markets, fashion shops and other conveniences. It is short walking distance from Alésia Place, where there are all sorts of shops and a cinema. It is also a quick subway ride to the lively and trendy Montparnasse district, famous for its singular view over Paris from the highest skyscraper, and for its large number of theaters and cinemas. Premises: This 85m² (approx. 910 sq. ft.) one-bedroom duplex loft apartment with a south/north exposure is located on the fourth floor (fifth in the USA) of a 20th century walk-up building. An intercom protects the main entrance gate, which opens onto a corridor and leads to the staircase. Layout: The entrance door opens to stairs that lead to the living room. To the left is the separate kitchen. More stairs lead to the bedroom and the bathroom. The 32m² (approx. 340 sq. ft.) living room has a bay window overlooking a square with a northern exposure. It is furnished with a sofa, three armchairs, a coffee table, a working fireplace, a stereo, some built-in closets and shelves, a dining table and two chairs. The 30m² (approx. 320 sq. ft.) bedroom has a bay window, offering a view of the top of the Eiffel Tower. It is furnished with a double-size bed, a double-size sofa bed, a console with a TV, some shelves, a chest of drawers and some built-in closets. The separate kitchen has one window overlooking a courtyard with a southern exposure. It is equipped with four gas burners, a refrigerator, a freezer, and some closets. The bathroom has a window and contains a bathtub and showerhead, a toilet, a washbasin and some closets. There is also a laundry room with a window and a washing machine. The nearest metro station is Pernety (L13). Heat and hot water are both gas and individually metered.
