Lovely one-bedroom apartment in the Marais Area

Neighborhood: This apartment is in the Les Halles area, close to the pedestrian Montorgueil Street with its large choice of quality food products, restaurants and cafes, and other services. It is also very close to the Beaubourg modern art museum, the rue des Lombards jazz clubs and of course the large underground mall of Les Halles. It is also a short walking distance to main points of interest such as the Seine River, the Notre Dame Cathedral on Ile de la Cité, the unique Ile Saint Louis, and to the majestic Louvre Museum. From the adjoining Jardin des Tuileries, one of the most historic parks in Paris, there is a fine perspective -- the alignment of the Obelisk on Place de la Concorde, the Champs Elysée and the Arc de Triomphe in one direction and the Arc de Triomphe du Carroussel and the glass pyramid of the Louvre in the other. It is a centrally located area, very convenient to travel all around Paris. Premises: This 45m² (approx. 480 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the second floor (third in the USA) of a 19th century building equipped with an elevator. Two security systems (a digicode and an intercom) protect the main entrance gate; it opens onto a corridor and leads to the staircase and the elevator. Layout: The entrance door opens into a small hallway; on the right is the separate toilet and straight ahead is the living room and open kitchen. The bedroom and bathroom are accessible through the living room. The 25m² (approx. 265 sq. ft.) living room has two windows facing courtyards with a western and an eastern exposure. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a sofa, a coffee table, a small dining table with three matching chairs, a console with a TV, shelves, a closet and a large table. The open kitchen is equipped with two electric burners, a combo washer/dryer, a dishwasher, a refrigerator/freezer, an oven and a coffee maker. The 9m² (approx. 95 sq. ft.) bedroom has one window, which overlooks a courtyard with a western exposure. It is furnished with a double-size bed, two bedside tables with lamps, a built-in closet and two chairs. The bathroom is equipped with a tub, showerhead and a washbasin. There is a separate toilet with a washbasin. There are two built-in closets in the small hallway. The nearest metro station is Etienne Marcel (L4). Heat and hot water are both electric and individually metered.
