Studio apartment bordering the Canal St. Martin

Neighborhood:
This is a cosmopolitan and dynamic area providing diverse shops, restaurants and cafes. Neighboring Republic Place offers an array of entertainment options and conveniences. In a few minutes walk is the delightful Canal St. Martin, bordered by trees and dotted with little bridges, remaining one of the most idyllic local landscapes and a favorite area of Parisians to live. The cycle tracks from Bastille to the Villette district, and Sainte Marthe place, a precious spot of this neighborhood, are the source of much local enjoyment. It is also about 10 minutes by metro to the Louvre and the Seine.
Premises:
This 29m² (approx. 310 sq. ft.) studio apartment with a southwestern exposure is located on the fifth floor (sixth in the USA) of a 20th century building equipped with an elevator. A coded security system protects the street's main entrance gate. It opens into a hallway, leading to a second entrance protected by a concierge and a coded security system.
Layout:
The entrance door opens into a corridor; to the right is the separate toilet and straight ahead are the living room and bedroom area. The bathroom is accessible through the bedroom area and the separate kitchen is accessible through the living room.
The 16m² (approx. 170 sq. ft.) living room has a bay window overlooking the street opening onto a small balcony and is divided into two parts. The 11m² (approx. 115 sq. ft.) living room area is furnished with a single-size sofa bed, a coffee table, a dining table, a bookshelf with a combo TV/VCR and a stereo.
The 5m² (approx. 50 sq. ft.) bedroom area is furnished with a double-size bed and a bedside table.
The separate kitchen has a French window and is equipped with two electric burners, a refrigerator, a combo oven/microwave/grill, a freezer, an oven, a toaster and a kettle.
The bathroom has a bathtub and showerhead, a washing machine and a washbasin.
There is a separate toilet.
There is a built-in closet in the corridor.
The nearest metro station is République (L5, 8 ,9,11, 3).
Heat and hot water are both electric and individually metered.
