Neighborhood: This apartment is located a few minutes away from Les Halles, in the heart of the famous pedestrian Montorgueil area with its large choice of quality food products, restaurants and cafes, as well as other services. It is also in short walking distance to such main points of interest as the Marais, the Seine River, Notre Dame on Ile de la Cité, the unique Ile Saint Louis, and to the majestic Louvre Museum. From its adjoining Jardin des Tuileries, one of the most famous parks in Paris, there is a fine perspective -- the alignment of the Obelisk on Place de la Concorde, the Champs Elysée and the Arc de Triomphe in one direction and the Arc de Triomphe du Carroussel and the glass pyramid of the Louvre in the other. Premises: This 37m² (approx. 395 sq. ft.) two-bedroom duplex apartment is located on the fifth floor of a recently renewed 18th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system and an intercom. The apartment has a western exposure. Layout: The entrance door opens into a hallway leading to the living room and the open kitchen. From the living room a door opens into the first bedroom and a staircase leads to the second bedroom. The shower and the separate toilet are located next to the open kitchen. The 15m² (approx. 160 sq. ft.) living room has two skylight windows which overlook the street. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a double-size bed (located in a recess), a TV, and a folding table with chairs. The open kitchen is equipped with two electric burners, a small refrigerator, a cooker hood and a microwave oven. The 12m² (approx. 125 sq. ft.) first bedroom has a skylight window and is furnished with a double-size bed. The 10m² (approx. 105 sq. ft.) upstairs second bedroom has two windows. It is furnished with a double-size bed, a small desk with a chair and a small chest of drawers. The bathroom has a shower and a separate toilet. The washbasin is located outside the bathroom, next to the open kitchen. There is also a washing machine. The nearest metro station is Etienne Marcel (line 4). Heat and hot water are electric and are individually metered.
