One-bedroom apartment just steps from the Louvre and the famous St. Germain area

Neighborhood:
This one-bedroom apartment is situated on Quai Voltaire in front of Pont du Carrousel, which links Saint Germain des Près to the Louvre area. The intellectual core of Paris, the Quartier Latin abounds with nearby historical points of interest such as the Seine, Musee d'Orsay, Notre Dame, and the Boulevard Saint Germain as well as many antique shops. On the other side of the Tuileries Garden are the Opera Garnier and Place Vendôme with its world famous jewelers. All around this area are select restaurants, cafes, cinemas, and supermarkets.
Premises:
The 35m² (approx. 375 sq. ft.) apartment faces southeast over courtyards. It is on the fourth floor of a 17th century building with a 19th century wing; an elevator reaches the third floor and a staircase is used to access the fourth floor. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system. This gate opens onto a paved courtyard secured by a metal gate and protected by a Visio-intercom. From the courtyard, a glass door leads to the entrance of the building, which kept its large 17th century marble and stone entrance lobby with a very grand staircase and stuccoed ceilings.
The 16m² (approx. 170 sq. ft.) living room has a parquet floor and two windows with interior rolling shutters overlooking the courtyard. It is furnished with a sofa, two armchairs, a dining table with chairs and a chest of drawers. There is a cable TV, a DVD player, a stereo and a phone.
A wireless Internet connection is available.
The open kitchen is equipped with a stove, a dishwasher, cooker hood, a microwave oven, a refrigerator, a combo washer/dryer, a coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle.
The 8m² (approx. 85 sq. ft.) bedroom has a parquet floor and a window with interior rolling shutters overlooking the courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size bed with two large drawers under it, a chair, a linen chest, six shelves and an antique style desk.
The open bathroom is accessible through the bedroom by a step and is separated from the bedroom by a rolling shutter allowing the light to come in. It is equipped with a washbasin, a tub and built-in closets. The toilet is separated and has a washbasin.
Heat and hot water are both electric and individual.
The nearest metro station is Saint Germain (line 4).
