Studio located a few steps from the Pantheon

This studio apartment is located right in the heart of the Place de la Contrescarpe and the rue Mouffetard district that are located on the southern slope of the Montagne Sainte Geneviève. They preserve a traditional and typical aspect of Paris. The Place de la Contrescarpe is the ideal spot to stroll and have a drink at the terrace of a café; well-known writers such as Hemingway resided here.
The rue Mouffetard is one of the oldest streets in Paris and is filled with open-air markets with fresh fruits and vegetables and other fine French products like cheeses and pastries. Nearby are many places of interest -- the Arènes de Lutèce (with its park and Gallo-Romaine vestiges), the Pantheon, the College de France, the Sorbonne and Jussieu University, the Jardin des Plantes, the Institut du Monde Arabe, the Mosquée de Paris (with its beautiful traditional hamam baths, mint tea and pastries), the Jardin du Luxembourg, and the Seine with its secondhand booksellers and delectable islands.
Premises:
This 26m² (approx. 280 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the second floor of a 16th century, five-floor building with an elevator. It has a coded security system and an intercom.
The 9m² (approx. 97 sq. ft.) living room has a double-glazed window overlooking the rue Mouffetard with an eastern exposure. It is furnished with a double sofa bed, two chairs, a coffee table, a desk, a closet, two built-in closets, a flat screen cable TV, a phone and a DVD player. This room has Internet access.
The separate kitchen is equipped with four electric burners, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle.
The bathroom has a washing machine, a tub with a showerhead, a washbasin and a toilet.
The nearest subway station are Place Monge (Line 7) and Cardinal Lemoine (line 10).
