Neighborhood: This apartment faces the rue de Rivoli and the Louvre. Passing directly through the heart of Paris, the rue de Rivoli connects the Bastille with Place de La Concorde, running parallel to the Louvre and the Jardin des Tuileries in the process. The Tuileries area has the vast and harmonious expanse of Concorde Square at one end and the grand Louvre at the other. Nearby Place Vendôme is the best example of 18th century elegance in the city; composer Frederic Chopin died there in 1848. For the shopping minded, along with rue de Rivoli is rue St. Honore to the north. There are all sorts of essential shops and services in the neighborhood. Premises: This 100m² (approx. 1,075 sq. ft.) two-bedroom apartment with high ceilings (4.30m or 14 ft.) is in fact an independent part of the owner's apartment; only the entrance hall is shared with the owner. This apartment is located on the second floor of an 1850s building. The main entrance gate is protected by a visio-intercom. It is furnished with a queen-size bed, a single-size bed, a bedside table, a chest of drawers, a desk, cabinets and some built-in closets. There is also a decorative fireplace. The 20m² (approx. 215 sq. ft.) second bedroom has a window offering the same view as the living room and it also gives access to the balcony. It is furnished with two single-size beds, a bedside table, a cabinet and a desk. This room can also be entered through the living room. The bathroom is equipped with a washbasin, a shower, a bathtub and a bidet. The toilette is separate and has a small washbasin. The nearest metro station is Louvre-Rivoli (line 1). Heat and hot water use gas.
