Neighborhood: This townhouse is located in the Latin Quarter, undoubtedly one of the most youthful areas of Paris; it abounds with historical points of interest. Famous institutes of learning such as the Sorbonne are found in this area, which has retained much of its old character. This district is covered with narrow, cobbled streets dating back to the 13th century. There are diverse jazz clubs, cafes, cinemas and bookshops and all sorts of essential shops and services in the neighborhood. The most remarkable aspect of the Rue Mouffetard is the open-air market with its numerous choice of fruits, vegetables and other fine French products like cheeses and pastries. The 5m² (approx. 50 sq. ft.) second part is accessible by a staircase. It is furnished with a single-size bed and it has a skylight that can be closed by a blind. It has a minimum 1.30m (approx. 4 ft.) ceiling height and a maximum of 1.60m (approx. 5.2 ft). The last bedroom is larger than the others. It has an area of 19m² (approx. 200 sq. ft.) encompassing two floors. The 11m² (approx. 115 sq. ft.) first level has a desk, built-in shelves and two windows with blinds and net curtains; they overlook the courtyard with a western exposure for one and southern for the other. The 8m² (approx. 85 sq. ft.) second level is accessible via a staircase. It is furnished with a two single-size beds, which can be turned into a queen-size bed. It has two skylights that can be closed by a blind. It has a minimum 2m (approx. 6.5 ft.) ceiling height. The 6m² office (approx. 60 sq. ft.) has a glass desk and a double-glazed window that overlooks the street with an eastern exposure. This room can be turned into a baby's room, since the owner can provide a folding baby bed. It has a 2.20m (approx. 7.2 ft.) ceiling height. The tiled bathroom has a bathtub, a shower, a toilette and two washbasins. The roof has a high ceiling (a minimum of 3.60m or approx. 11.8 ft.) and two skylights. Heat and hot water use gas and are individually metered. The nearest metro station is Censier-Daubenton (line 7).
