One-bedroom in the Marais area between place de la République and place de la Bastille

This apartment is on Paris' Right Bank on Boulevard des Filles du Calvaire, in the Marais, close to the Place des Vosges and near the Cirque d'Hiver Bouglione (a monument classified by Napoléon III). It is nicely situated, close to Rue de Bretagne and its diversity of stores and from the Temple area with its covered markets. Next to the building are a French bakery, a café and a post office as well as some French bistros. The Seine quays are not far away, nor is the famous Ile Saint Louis. The Les Halles district and the well-known Georges Pompidou center, as well as the new trendy Parisian districts Bastille and Oberkampf, are nearby. The brand new luxury hotel, the Murano, is also very close to the apartment.
Premises:
This 37m² (approx. 395 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the fourth floor of a 19th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate, protected by a coded security system, opens into a hall leading to a second door with an intercom. This last door accesses the staircase. The apartment has an eastern exposure and overlooks the street. It has a parquet floor in the living room and in the bedroom. The ceiling height is 2.65m (approx. 8.70 ft.).
The apartment entrance door opens into a hall with the kitchen on the left and the living room straight ahead. On the right is a storage place with wardrobes and shelves.
The 15m² (approx. 160 sq. ft.) living room is decorated in a contemporary style and has three double-glazed French windows with blinds; they access a balcony. The room is furnished with a sofa, two armchairs, a coffee table, a round dining table with chairs, a desk, bookshelves and a narrow built-in closet. It is equipped with a combo cable TV/DVD player, a stereo, a phone (restricted to reception calls), a printer, a scanner and a high-speed Internet connection (via cable with a wireless connection available).
The connecting 12m² (approx. 125 sq. ft.) bedroom has a double-glazed window that also accesses the balcony. It is furnished with a queen-size bed, an armchair, a chest of drawers, a cabinet and a decorative fireplace. This room has a narrow door leading to a convenient, but small tiled bathroom with a shower, a washbasin, a toilette and a washing machine.
The kitchen has a tiled floor and a window. It is equipped with four electric burners topped by a cooker hood, an oven, a small dishwasher, a coffee maker, a toaster, a refrigerator and a kettle.
The nearest metro station is Saint Sebastien Froissart (line 8), and there are also some bus stops near the apartment (buses 20, 65, 96).
Heat and hot water use gas and are individually metered.
