One-bedroom apartment in the heart of Saint-Germain des Près

This furnished apartment is located in the heart of the Saint-Germain des Près section of Paris. One of the most attractive and historic districts of the Seine River's Left Bank, there are a number of select restaurants and historic cafes such as Les Deux Magots and Café de Flore, favorite haunts of famous French existentialists and expatriated American writers. Nearby is the new Marché Saint Germain (fashion market) and a few steps away rue de Buci features a special atmosphere with its open-air market. The neighborhood is also very famous for its refined art galleries and designer fashion shops. The accommodation is walking distance from the Ile de la Cité and the Ile Saint Louis.
Premises:
This 35m² (approx. 375 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the fifth floor of a 19th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system at night that opens to a hall with an intercom. The apartment is accessible via a nice court leading to the building's staircase.
The entrance door is equipped with an interior security system and is reinforced. It opens directly into the living room. Straight ahead is the bedroom, to the left is the bathroom, and to the right is the kitchen space.
The 18m² (approx. 190 sq. ft.) living room has a parquet floor and two double-glazed window doors with shutters that access the balcony; it overlooks the street with a southern exposure. The room is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a coffee table, and a round glass dining table with four armchairs. There is a cable TV and high speed internet access.
The open kitchen is equipped with two gas burners topped by a cooker hood, an oven, a dishwasher, a washing-machine, a coffee maker, a toaster and an open closet. It has a bar with four tools.
The 10m² (approx. 105 sq. ft.) bedroom has a parquet floor and a double-glazed window door with curtains and shutters; it also accesses the balcony. It contains twin beds, two bedside tables, a desk with a lamp, and a spacious closet which contains drawers and a wardrobe. It faces South and street.
The balcony has a small table and a chair.
The tiled bathroom contains a large shower with a sliding glass door, a glass washbasin, a toilette, and a towel dryer.
Heat and hot water both use gas. The apartment also has a home safety box.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are Saint-Germain des Prés (line 4) and Mabillon (line 10).
