This furnished apartment is located in the heart of historic Paris. Down the hill, in a 2 minutes walking distance is the famous Boulevard Saint Germain, ending on the historic Pont de Sully, one of the bridges linking the Seine River banks, crossing the delightful Ile Saint Louis. Also, in a very short distance is the Pantheon containing the remains of many great French men, the beautiful Mosque of Paris, and the biggest University of Paris, Jussieu close to the delightful Jardin des Plantes and Arènes de Lutèce.
This area abounds as well of restaurants, pubs, and cinemas. It is a traditional student neighborhood for universities such as the renowned Sorbonne surround it. There are lots of nice shops and Gallo Roman historic interests.

This 63m² (approx. 675 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the fifth floor (sixth in the USA) of a walk-up building constructed at the end of the 19th century. A coded security system and an intercom protect the main entrance gate that leads to the staircase.
The apartment door opens into a corridor leading to the kitchen on the left, to the living room straight ahead and to the separate toilette and the bedroom on the right. The bedroom is also accessible through the living room.
The 24m² (approx. 255 sq. ft.) living room has three French doors that open onto a balcony overlooking the street with a western exposure; it is decorated with plants and equipped with an automatic watering system. The living room is furnished with two sofas, a coffee table, bookshelves, a cabinet, a low table, a decorative fireplace, a round dining table with chairs. It also has flat screen TV and a stereo.
The 12m² (approx. 125 sq. ft.) bedroom is accessible through a door hidden behind bookshelves. It has a window that overlooks a courtyard with an eastern exposure. It is furnished with a double-size bed, a desk, an armchair, a bedside table, bookshelves, a phone and a cable TV with a VCR and a DVD player.
The bathroom is accessible through the bedroom via a small corridor leading to a sliding door with stained glass. This corridor has a built-in closet and shelves. The bathroom has a bathtub, a washbasin and a washing machine.
The separate eat-in kitchen has a window and is equipped with four gas burners, an electric oven, a microwave oven, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, a freezer and a toaster. There is also a small flat screen TV.

Heat and hot water use gas and are individually metered.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are Maubert-Mutualité (line 10) and Cardinal Lemoine (line 7).
