Neighborhood: This furnished apartment is in Montmartre, a district inseparable from art; at the end of the 19th century the area was a Mecca for artists, writers and poets. Montmartre maintains its physical charm and the village atmosphere remains remarkably intact. There are spectacular views of the city from various points, especially from the monumental Sacre-Coeur Basilica. One of Paris' most picturesque squares is the Place des Abbesses with its original Art Nouveau metro station. There are all sorts of essential shops and services near this accommodation, such as the picturesque fruit and vegetable market situated on Rue Lepic. Be aware that from the metro station to the apartment there are a lot of steps to climb. Premises: This 35m² (approx. 375 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located at the top of the Montmartre Hill and accessible by foot via the well-known street's long stone staircases. This apartment is located on the ground floor of a building constructed in 1921. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system.
