One-bedroom apartment just behind the Montmartre Sacré Coeur
|
Neighborhood:
This furnished apartment is in Montmartre, a district inseparable from art; at the end of the 19th century the area was a Mecca for artists, writers and poets. Montmartre maintains its physical charm and the village atmosphere remains remarkably intact. There are spectacular views of the city from various points, especially from the monumental Sacre-Coeur Basilica. One of Paris' most picturesque squares is the Place des Abbesses with its original Art Nouveau metro station. There are all sorts of essential shops and services near this accommodation, such as the picturesque fruit and vegetable market situated on Rue Lepic.
Be aware that from the metro station to the apartment there are a lot of steps to climb.
Premises:
This 35m² (approx. 375 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located at the top of the Montmartre Hill and accessible by foot via the well-known street's long stone staircases. This apartment is located on the ground floor of a building constructed in 1921. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system. There is an Internet connection (wireless connection is also available).
The apartment entrance opens into a corridor and the kitchen. This leads to the bedroom straight ahead and the living room on the right. The bathroom is accessible through the living room.
The 14m² (approx. 150 sq. ft.) living room has a window overlooking a small courtyard and the calm street. It is furnished with a double sofa bed, a round dining table with chairs, a cabinet and a console. This room is equipped with a flat screen cable TV and a stereo.
The 10m² (approx. 105 sq. ft.) bedroom has a small window with exterior shutters and the same view as the living room. It is furnished with a double-size bed, a sofa, bedside tables, a cabinet and shelves. This room has a phone and a laptop.
The kitchen is equipped with two electric plates topped by a cooker hood, a small refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker and a kettle.
The tiled bathroom contains a shower cabin, a washbasin, a toilette and a combo washer/dryer. There is also a narrow window.
Heat and hot water are collective with the building.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station are Abbesses (line 12) and Anvers (line 2)
