One-bedroom apartment in the Northern part of the Marais

Neighborhood: This furnished apartment is located in a very popular area of Paris, the Marais. This neighborhood has preserved almost all of its pre-Revolutionary architecture and provides all kinds of conveniences in addition to trendy fashion shops. In the vicinity is the Georges Pompidou Cultural Center, also known as Beaubourg, and a little further, but also in a walking distance, the wide Les Halles Mall. This accommodation is also near the well-known pedestrian Rue des Gravilliers, a residential and commercial street with nice greengrocers and fishmongers. There are also a lot of gorgeous restaurants and cafes in the Marais. Most of the important points of interest -- such as the Louvre, City Hall, and the Seine with its enchanting islands -- are in fair walking distance. Premises: This 37m² (approx. 395 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the third floor of an 18th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system and an intercom and opens into the hall leading to the staircase. The apartment entrance opens into a hall leading to the kitchen (straight ahead) and to the living room (on the left). The bathroom and the bedroom are both accessible from the living room. The 18m² (approx. 190 sq. ft.) living room has two double-glazed windows with curtains overlooking the street with a southern exposure. It has a nice tiled floor and exposed ceiling beams. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, designer armchairs, a coffee table, a folding dining table with chairs, and bookcases. This room is equipped with a small flat screen cable TV and a DVD player. There is also a high-speed DSL Internet connection. The kitchen is equipped with four electric plates topped by a cooker hood, a microwave, a small refrigerator, a freezer, a coffee maker, and a toaster. There is also a window and a bistro table with chairs. The 9m² (approx. 95 sq. ft.) bedroom has a window with curtains that overlooks a courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size bed, bedside tables, bookshelves and a large wardrobe and shelves. The tiled bathroom is accessible through the living room via a small hallway that contains the washing machine and shelves. The bathroom is fitted with a bathtub with a showerhead, a washbasin, a toilette and an electric towel-drying rack. Heat and hot water are both electric and individual. For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Arts et Métiers (lines 3 and 11).
