Neighborhood: This furnished apartment is located on a calm street in the Marais area between Rue de Bretagne and the Boulevard du Temple in Paris. It is very close to the Centre Georges Pompidou, a large cultural center famous for its architecture; City Hall; the Seine River; the Louvre; and the famous pedestrian Rue des Gravilliers, a residential and commercial street with nice greengrocers, fishmongers, and restaurants. All sorts of shops, bars, and supermarkets are near this accommodation. Premises: This 30m² (approx. 320 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the second floor of a 16th century building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system and opens into a paved courtyard. From there a door gives access to the building and opens into an old-fashioned staircase. The apartment entrance opens into a narrow hall leading to the living room and open kitchen on the left, to the bedroom on the right, and to the bathroom straight ahead. The 16m² (approx. 170 sq. ft.) living room has a parquet floor and two double-glazed windows overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, an armchair, a console with a cable flat screen TV, a phone and a dining table with chairs. There is also a cable Internet connection (a wireless connection is also available). The stylish open kitchen is equipped with four vitro-ceramic burners, a combo microwave/grill oven, a refrigerator, a freezer, a dishwasher and a combo washer/dryer. The 8m² (approx. 85 sq. ft.) bedroom has a small window with rolling shutters that overlooks a small courtyard. It is furnished with a double-size bed, a small desk and wall-to-wall shelves and wardrobes. The designer bathroom contains a shower, a washbasin and a toilette. Heat and hot water are electric and individual. For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are Arts et Métiers (lines 3 and 11) and République (lines 3, 5, 8, 9, 11).
