Studio apartment just steps from the Palais Royal

Neighborhood:
This furnished apartment is situated on a small street between Avenue de l'Opéra and Rue du Louvre; it is in very short walking distance to the majestic Louvre, the Comedie Francaise, the Musee d'Orsay and the National Library. It is also a 20-minute walk to Notre Dame and other major sights. Large department stores are within 10 minutes by foot, and many of the major 'haute couture' shops and luxury boutiques are found in the nearby streets of the Champs Elysees area. All around this district are select restaurants, nice cafes, cinemas, a laundromat and supermarkets.
Premises:
This 22m² (approx. 235 sq. ft.) mezzanine studio apartment is located on the fifth and top floor of a 17th century walk-up building. The main entrance is protected by a coded system and an intercom and it opens into a corridor leading to a courtyard. From there, a door provides access to a narrow and steep staircase.
The apartment entrance opens directly into the 10m² (approx. 105 sq. ft.) main room, which has a parquet floor and two windows that overlook a courtyard. It is furnished with a sofa bed, a coffee table, a dining table with stools and a flat screen TV. This room has an Internet connection.
The open kitchen is equipped with two vitro ceramic burners, a microwave, a small refrigerator, a coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle. There is also a washing machine and cabinets.
A wooden ladder leads upstairs to the mezzanine bedroom located under the roof; it has a skylight. The room is furnished with shelves, lamps and a double-size mattress.
A glass door provides access to the narrow bathroom, which contains a washbasin, a toilette and a shower.
Heat and hot water are electric and individual.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Palais Royal (lines 1 and 7).
