This furnished apartment is located on a small, select street in the heart of the Saint-Germain-des-Près neighborhood in Paris. One of the most attractive and historic districts of the Seine River's Left Bank, there are a number of select restaurants and historic cafes such as Les Deux Magots and Café de Flore, favorite haunts of famous French existentialists and expatriated American writers. Just beside this area is the new Marché Saint Germain (fashion market) and a few steps away Rue de Buci features a special atmosphere with its open-air market. The neighborhood is also very famous for its refined art galleries and designer fashion shops. Finally, this accommodation is walking distance from Ile de la Cité and Ile Saint Louis.
Premises:
This 145m² (approx. 1,560 sq. ft.) three-bedroom apartment is located on the second floor of a 17th century, well-maintained walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system at night and a concierge. This opens into a corridor leading to a paved courtyard.
The apartment entrance opens into a hall with a built-in closet. This leads to the kitchen and to the dining room.
The modern kitchen is equipped with four vitro-ceramic plates topped by a cooker hood, an oven, a refrigerator, a freezer, a microwave, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle.
The 15m² (approx. 160 sq. ft.) dining room has an opening with a bar and stools leading to the kitchen that can be closed by shutters. The dining room is furnished with a table and chairs. It has a parquet floor and a window with curtains.
From the dining room, a double door provides access to the 25m² (approx. 265 sq. ft.) living room, which has a parquet floor, mouldings and two windows. It is furnished with two sofas, an armchair, a coffee table, a decorative fireplace and a stereo.
The living room has a door with access to a hall leading to the first bedroom, the first bathroom and to the suite.
The 11m² (approx. 115 sq. ft.) first bedroom has a window with curtains and exterior shutters that overlooks the courtyard. It is furnished with a queen-size bed, two bedside tables, a phone, built-in closets and a chest of drawers.
The first bathroom is fitted with a bathtub, a shower, two washbasins, a towel drying rack and a separate toilette.
The spacious and comfortable 30m² (approx. 320 sq. ft.) suite bedroom has a parquet floor, three windows and a French door. It is divided into two parts; the first is a living room, furnished with a corner sofa, a coffee table, a large flat screen cable TV, a phone, and a DVD player equipped with a home theater system. The second part can be closed by sliding doors and is furnished with two single-size beds that can be turned into a king-size bed, two bedside tables and a dressing area with two built-in closets.
The French door provides access to a terrace.
From this suite, a door leads to an office with a large bay window. This room has a desk with chairs and bookcases and a phone. Hidden behind a sliding door is the laundry room equipped with a washing machine, a dryer, a sink and a freezer. This office also has a second entrance door.
The suite links to a small corridor that leads to the third bedroom and to the second bathroom.
The 9m² (approx. 95 sq. ft.) third bedroom has a parquet floor, mouldings and a window. It is furnished with a trundle bed and a chest of drawers.
The second bathroom contains a washbasin, a bathtub, a separate shower, a toilette and a towel drying rack.
Heat and hot water are electric and individual.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is St. Germain des Près (line 4).
