One-bedroom apartment overlooking the Ile de la Cité

Neighborhood:
Bordering the Seine River, and just beside Notre Dame Cathedral this exceptional location in the heart of the Quartier Latin is undoubtedly an asset being one of the most youthful areas of Paris abounding of historical points of interest. It has been the center of Parisian education since the Middle Age. In the nearby pedestrian streets there are many diverse restaurants and cafes, and many fashion shops, bookstores, and other services are found all along the Boulevard Saint Michel where is the Sorbonne University, and in the neighboring famous Boulevard Saint Germain.
Premises:
This 45m² (480 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the fourth floor of an 18th century elevator building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system and an intercom. The building faces the Seine river and the Ile de la Cité.
The apartment entrance opens into a long corridor-gallery that links all the rooms. The corridor is lightened by 3 double-glazed windows facing south.
The 15m² (approx. 160 sq. ft.) living room is located on the opposite side of the bedroom. From the double-size bed, you can enjoy the unobstructed view of the Seine river through the two double-glazed windows with rolling shutters. This room has also a wall-to-wall carpeting, two bedside tables, bookshelves, a round dining table with chairs, armchairs, a coffee table and a wooden chest of drawers. You can move the bed into the bedroom.
The quiet 10m² (approx. 105 sq. ft.) bedroom is furnished with a sofa, a full-wall built-in closet, a folding table, armchairs, bookshelves, a cabinet and a console with an old-fashioned TV. This room has wall-to-wall carpeting and a double-glazed window overlooking an interior courtyard.
Between the living room and the bedroom are the the kitchen and the bathroom.
The small kitchen is equipped with four gas burners topped by a cooker hood, a small refrigerator, a microwave, an electric oven, a kettle and a toaster.
The tiled bathroom contains a bathtub with a showerhead, a washbasin, a toilette and a washer/dryer.
Individual gas heat and hot water.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is St. Michel Notre Dame (line 4 and RER B and C).
