This furnished studio apartment is on Rue de l'Epée de Bois in the Quartier Latin, where some of Paris' most famous universities and high schools such as Jussieu, La Sorbonne, Lycee Louis le Grand, and Lycee Henri IV are located. Several parks dot the neighborhood, such as the Jardin des Plantes with its Museum of Natural History, and the large, beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg with its magnificent alleys and pool. Nearby is the Pantheon, built as an abbey church in 1750; it was later converted into a secular mausoleum for the renowned personalities of France. This accommodation is also located near the famous Rue Mouffetard with its traditional French food shops.
Premises:
This 35m² (approx. 375 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the first floor of a 20th century building with an elevator. The entrance gate, protected by a coded security system, opens into a large hall that contains the elevator and staircase area.
The apartment entrance opens into a corridor, which has a large built-in closet with sliding doors. It links the living room and the open kitchen, the separate bathroom and the separate toilette.
The 20m² (approx. 215 sq. ft.) main room has two windows with northwestern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, a coffee table, a dining table with two chairs, a closet, and bookshelves.
The open kitchen is equipped with two electric plates topped by a cooker hood, a refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster and a washing machine. There is also a bar that can be used as a dining area.
The separate bathroom has a bathtub topped by a showerhead and a washbasin.
There is also a separate toilette.
Heat and hot water are collective.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Censier Daubenton (line 7).
