This furnished apartment is in Montmartre, a district inseparable from art. At the end of the 19th century, this area of Paris was a Mecca for artists, writers and poets. Montmartre maintains its physical charm and the village atmosphere remains remarkably intact. There are spectacular views of the city from various points, especially from the monumental Sacre-Coeur Basilica. One of Paris' most picturesque squares is the Place des Abbesses with its original Art Nouveau metro station. There are all sorts of essential shops and services near this accommodation.
Premises:
This 43m² (approx. 460 sq. ft.) apartment is located on the second floor of a 20th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is a portal and is protected by a coded system. It opens into a small courtyard with a second door with a coded system leading into a hall. The building is on the right and has a door opening to the staircase. There is a garden in front.
Upon entering the apartment, there is a corridor with the main room on the right and the kitchen and bathroom on the left.
The 30m² (approx. 320 sq. ft.) living room has a parquet floor and a double window with curtains that overlooks the street. It is furnished with a double-size bed, a double sofa bed, a night table, a desk with a chair (the drawers contain several guides to Paris) and many shelves. In the entrance corridor there are two built-in closets. It is also equipped with a cable TV and a DVD player.
The separate kitchen has a window that overlooks the garden and has a beautiful view of Paris. It is equipped with an oven and a dishwasher topped by four vitro-ceramic plates. There is also a refrigerator, a freezer, a coffee maker, a toaster, a microwave and a dining table with two stools.
The tiled bathroom has a window that overlooks the garden and is fitted with a bathtub with a showerhead, a washbasin, a toilette and a washing machine.
Internet access is available.
Heat and hot water use gas and are collective.
There is a cellar ideal for storing bicycles.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Lamarck Caulaincourt (line 12) or Abesses (line12).
