This furnished apartment is located next to Place des Vosges, the oldest square in Paris. The royal Place des Vosges was originally named the Place Royale and built between 1605 and 1612 as decreed by Henry IV. Many historical personalities lived there, such as novelist Victor Hugo at number 6. A number of museums, art galleries, select restaurants, trendy fashion shops and pleasant cafes are near this accommodation. In 10 minutes walking distance is the Place de la Bastille, the symbol of the French Republic.
Premises:
This 51m˛ (approx 550 sqft.)furnished apartment is located on the first and top floor of a walk up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system and opens into a courtyard. On the right, there is a second door protected by a coded system which leads into the staircase.
The apartment's entrance opens into the dining room with the living room on the right and the kitchen, shower room and bedroom on the left.
The 28m˛ (approx 301 sqft) living and dining room floor is tiled and has 7 double glazed windows (with curtains). It is furnished with a sofa, a glass dining table with four chairs, a coffee table and a wooden desk. It is also equipped with a cable TV, a stereo and a DVD player.
The open kitchen is separated from the living room by wooden beams. It is equipped with an induction electric plate, a halogen hot plate, a microwave, a traditional oven, a fridge, a freezer, a kettle, a coffee maker and a toaster.
The 11m˛ (approx 120 sqft) bedroom is streetside and has a parquet floor and two windows with curtains. It is furnished with a double size bed, an armchair and a closet.
The tiled shower room is fitted with a washbasin, a shower and a heated towel rack.
The separate toilet is chemical.
Heat and hot water are electric and individual.
An Internet access is available.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is « Saint Paul »(line 1).
