A Studio in the « Quartier Latin ».

Neighborhood:
This area, the Latin Quarter, is covered with cobbled streets dating back to the 13th century. It contains some of the most famous universities and high schools in Paris such as Jussieu, La Sorbonne, Lycée Louis le Grand, as well as Lycée Henri IV. Several parks dot the neighborhood such as the Jardin des Plantes with the National Museum of Natural History, and the large, beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg with its magnificent alleys and pool. Nearby is the Pantheon, built as an abbey church in 1750; it was later converted into a secular mausoleum for the great men of France. There are all sorts of small food shops and supermarkets in the neighborhood. The pedestrian rue Mouffetard, with its open-air food market, is only a few steps away.
Premises:
This 17m² (approx 180sqft) furnished studio is located on the 1st floor of a 20th century building with an elevator. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system and opens into a hall with the staircase and the elevator.
The 13m² (approx 130 sqft) main room has a parquet floor, a window with curtains and a view on a street. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, a washing machine (stored away in a cupboard), a wooden desk and a built in closet.
The corner kitchen is equipped with 2 electric plates, a fridge, a microwave, a kettle, cupboards and it has a window.
The tiled bathroom has a small bathtub with a showerhead, a washbasin and a toilet.
Heat and hot water are electric and individual.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is « Les Gobelins »(line 7).
