One bedroom apartment in the marais
Neighborhood:

This furnished one bedroom apartment is located on Rue de Montmorency between Rue du Temple and Rue Beaubourg. It is located just beside the Georges Pompidou Cultural Center, also known as Beaubourg, and it is close to the Les Halles Mall. It is about a 10-minute walk to the Louvre and the adjoining Jardin des Tuileries, as well as to the Seine River with its unique islands -- Ile de la Cite and the delightful Ile Saint Louis. This area of Paris has preserved almost all of its pre-Revolutionary architecture. It is home to a substantial number of points of interest such as museums, art galleries, designer shops, and diverse, trendy bars and restaurants. In addition to the French traditional and international restaurants and cafes, there are all sorts of facilities near this accommodation.

The street features the oldest house in Paris (built in 1407), the former residence of the alchemists Nicolas and Pernelle Flamel. There is a lovely restaurant on the premises where patrons can dine in the same rooms where these famous alchemists and philanthropists once did. The facade of the building is essentially as it was 600 years ago, but the restaurant inside is much more modern.

Premises:

This 30m² (approx 320 sq ft) one bedroom apartment is located on the fourth and top floor of a XVIIth century walk up building. The entrance gate protected by a coded security system and an intercom opens into the staircase.
The entrance door opens into a staircase, which leads to the apartment hall area. This hall area links the living room and open kitchen, as well as the bedroom with its private bathroom.

The 20m² (approx 215 sq ft) living room has three skylights and is furnished with a large modern style sofa, a coffee table, two pouffs, a decorative fireplace and some decorative items. There is also a small dining table with two chairs.
The open kitchen has two vitroceramic plates topped by an exhaust fan, a refrigerator, a combo grill-oven /microwave, a kettle, a coffee maker and a toaster. There is also a dishwasher.

The 8m² (approx 85 sq ft) bedroom has a skylight and is furnished with a double size bed, a chair and a dressing, which is hidden behind a curtain.

The private bathroom has a shower topped by a showerhead, a washbasin and a toilet. There is also a washing machine.

Heat and hot water are both electric.

An Internet connexion is also available in the apartment.

For convenient travel around Paris the nearest metro stations are Rambuteau (line 11), Arts et Métiers (Lines 3,11) and Hôtel de Ville (Lines 1,11).
