This furnished one bedroom apartment is located on Rue Madame between Rue de Vaugirard and Rue de Fleurus, in the highly popular Saint Germain des Près area, and more precisely the Saint Sulpice neighborhood. This is the Parisian core of the latest and most chic fashion shops, and one of the most attractive and historic districts on the Left Bank of the Seine River. There is a number of select restaurants and historic cafes like Les Deux Magots and Café de Flore, once favorite haunts of famous French existentialists and expatriated American literary figures. The Marché Saint Germain (fashion market) and the rue de Buci, with its special atmosphere and open-air market, are just steps away from this accommodation. The Luxembourg Gardens are very close as well.
Premises:
This 65m² (approx 700 sq ft) one bedroom apartment is located on the fourth floor of a 19th century building with elevator. The entrance gate protected by a coded security system opens into a hall. Then a gate protected by an intercom leads to the staircase and elevator.
The entrance door opens into the dining room. On the left is the living room. A corridor links the separate kitchen, the bedroom and the bathroom.
The 30m² (approx 320 sq ft) living room is divided into two parts. The living room area has a window with eastern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with two single size beds, a coffee table, a modern style console and a decorative fireplace.
The dining room area has two windows with western exposure overlooking a courtyard. It is furnished with a dining table and chairs and some large closets.
The 13m² (approx 140 sq ft) bedroom has a window with eastern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double size bed and two bedside tables, a desk and a chair, as well as two large mirrored closets.
The bathroom has a window, a bathtub topped by a showerhead, a washbasin and a toilet.
The separate kitchen has a window and is equipped with four gas burners topped by an exhaust fan, an oven, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. There are also a dishwasher and a combo washing machine/dryer.
Heat and hot water are both gas.
For convenient travel around Paris the nearest metro stations are Rennes (line 12) and Saint-Sulpice (line 4).
