This furnished one bedroom apartment is located on Avenue de la Motte Picquet between Avenue Bosquet and Rue Bougainville.
Everything in the area of the Invalides is on a monumental scale, starting from the sprawling 18th century buildings of the Ecole Militaire and the Parc du Champs de Mars stretching down to the Eiffel Tower and the Seine. The avenues around the Tower are lined with luxurious buildings, some in the Art Nouveau style, and numerous embassies. The Eiffel Tower, originally built to impress visitors to the Universal Exhibition of 1889, was meant to be temporary and now is the symbol of Paris. There are all sorts of shops near this accommodation, including the colorful and exclusive street market on Rue Cler.

This 39m2 (approx 420 sq ft) one bedroom apartment is located on the third floor of a 20th century elevator building.
The entrance gate protected by a coded security system opens into a courtyard. Then a second gate protected by an intercom opens into a hall with staircase and elevator.
The entrance door opens into the living room and the open kitchen.
The 20m2 (approx 215 sq ft) living room has two double glazed windows with northern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, an armchair, coffee tables, a stereo, as well as a wall mounted flat screen TV and a DVD player.
The windowed open kitchen is equipped with two vitro-ceramic plates topped by an exhaust fan, a combo microwave/oven, a refrigerator, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. There is a breakfast bar with 3 chairs. A combo washing machine/dryer completes the equipment.
The 12m2 (approx 130 sq ft) bedroom has a double glazed window with northern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double size bed,a small bookshelf, two bedside tables and a large built in closet.
The bathroom has a shower topped by a walmounted showerhead, a washbasin and a toilet.
Heat and hot water are both electric.
For convenient travel around Paris the nearest metro station is Ecole Militaire (line 8).
