This furnished one bedroom apartment is located on Rue de la Sablière between Rue Didot and Rue Hippolyte Maindron.
The lively and trendy Montparnasse district is also famous for the highest local skyscraper showing a singular view over Paris, and for the large number of theaters, cinemas, international and select restaurants, and nice cafes. Montparnasse was once the favorite neighborhood for artists called the "Montparnos." The World Fair of 1889 and the artistic life already so rich in Montmartre had attracted many artists who then choose this popular district for its central location in Paris.
Premises:
This 35m2 (approx 375 sq ft) one bedroom apartment is located on the second floor of a 1930 walk up building.
The entrance gate protected by a coded security system opens into a hall with staircase.
The entrance door opens into a hall, which links the living room and the open kitchen, the bedroom and the bathroom with toilet. This hall has a large built in closet.
The 20m2 (approx 215 sq ft) living room has a window with northern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, a coffee table, a chest of drawers, a stereo, some shelves, a dining table and chairs, as well as a console surmounted by a TV, a DVD player and a VCR.
The open kitchen has an opening to the living room and is equipped with two vitro-ceramic plates topped by an exhaust fan, a combo microwave/oven, a refrigerator, a freezer, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster. There is also a washing machine.
The 10m2 (approx 105 sq ft) bedroom has a window with southern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double size bed, a bedside table and a large closet.
The bathroom has a bathtub, a washbasin and a toilet.
Heat and hot water are both electric.
For convenient travel around Paris the nearest metro stations are Pernety (line13) and Alésia (line 4).
