This furnished one bedroom apartment is located on Rue Pasteur between Rue de la Folie-Méricourt and Avenue Parmentier.
This apartment is located near Place de la Bastille and Rue de Lappe, with its numerous cafes, restaurants, and other services. Nearby is the Rue de la Roquette, which is a young and up and coming area. The heart of this area is the historic Place de la Bastille with its Opéra House, which was inaugurated at the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution. A 10-minute walk away is Place des Vosges, known for its art galleries, expensive antique shops and also for the famous French novelist Victor Hugo's residence at #6. It is still possible to visit his apartment and the room where he wrote his novels. In the neighborhood there are number of traditional restaurants, cafes, and open-air markets such as the Place d'Aligre, and a second one on Rue Richard Lenoir. There is a supermarket really close to the apartment.
Premises:
This 54m2 (approx 560 sq ft) one bedroom triplex apartment is located on the ground floor of a 1900 century walk up building.
The building is an old factory, which was remodeled into a triplex loft style apartment in 2008.
The entrance gate protected by an intercom opens into a hall with the apartment entrance.
The entrance door opens into the living room and the open kitchen. A staircase leads to the first floor with the bedroom and a separate toilet. Another staircase leads to the basement with the bathroom.
The 20m2 (approx 215 sq ft) living room has a window, as well as a bay window with southeastern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, an armchair, a coffee table, a modern style chest of drawers, a stereo, a dining table and chairs, as well as a console surmounted by a flat screen TV and a DVD player.
The open kitchen is equipped with four induction plates topped by an exhaust fan, a microwave, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a kettle and a toaster.
The first 12m2 (approx 130 sq ft) bedroom opens into the living room. It is furnished with a double size bed and two bedside tables, a large modern style chest of drawers and some decorative items.
There is also a separate toilet with washbasin.
The bathroom has a shower topped by a showerhead, two washbasins, a heated towel rack and a separate toilet.
Heat and hot water are both electric.
For convenient travel around Paris the nearest metro station is Saint Ambroise (line 9).
