Neighborhood:
Situated in a mostly residential, traditional Parisian district, this apartment is close to the Montparnasse area, which has a number of charming squares and all sorts of boutiques, as well as restaurants, pleasant cafes, open-air markets, supermarkets, and convenience shops. Montparnasse is known for Paris' tallest office tower, the Tour Montparnasse, and for its theatre district around Rue de la Gaîté. This area borders the famous Sixth Arrondissement, where you can find fashion shops and diverse restaurants and cafes. It is also close to the Invalides with the sprawling 18th century buildings of the Ecole Militaire and the Parc du Champs de Mars, which stretches down to the Eiffel Tower and the Seine.
Premises:
This 30m² (approx 320 sq.ft.) furnished apartment is located on 3rd floor of 19th century walk up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded system and opens into a porche. Then a second door leads to the staircase on the right hand side.
The apartment's entrance opens into the living room with on the right hand side, the bedroom and on the left hand side the kitchen and bathroom.
The 13m² (approx 140 sq. ft.) living room has parquet floor and a window with a view on a courtyard. It is furnished with a sofa, a coffee table, a table, an armchair and shelves. It is also equipped with a stereo and a cable TV.
The 9m² (approx. 95 sq.ft.) bedroom has parquet floor and a window with a view on a courtyard. It is furnished with a double size bed, a bedside table, some shelves and a large built in closet.
There is a built in closet in the entrance.
The separate kitchen has 2 vitro-ceramic plates, a fridge, a kettle, a microwave and a washing machine. It also has a window.
The bathroom has a shower, a washbasin, a toilet and a window.
Heat and hot water use gas and are individual.
Internet access is available.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro stations are « Pernety »(line 13) or « Mouton Duvernet » (line 4).
