Neighborhood: This furnished studio apartment is located on Rue de Rivoli between Rue du Renard and Rue du temple. The apartment is just next to the Hotel de Ville and the Georges Pompidou Cultural Center, also known as Beaubourg. It is close to the Les Halles Mall and in about 10 minutes walking distance to the Louvre Museum and the adjoining Royal Tuileries Garden, as well as to the Seine River with its unique islands - Ile de la Cite, Notre Dame Cathedral berth, and the delightful Ile Saint Louis - a must see. In addition to the French traditional and international restaurants and cafes, all sorts of facilities are easily found in the neighborhood. Premises: This 45m2 (approx 484 sq ft) studio apartment is located on the second floor of a 19th century walk up building. The entrance gate protected by a coded security system opens into a courtyard. Then a second gate opens into a hall with staircase. The entrance door opens into the living room. The 26m2 (approx 279 sq ft) living room has two windows with southern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with a queen size bed, a double size sofa bed, armchairs, a coffee table, a dining table, a desk and a chair, as well as a phone, a stereo, an i pod plug, a console surmounted by a flat screen TV with international channels and a DVD player. The open kitchen is equipped with an induction plate topped by an exhaust fan, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a coffee/ espresso maker, a juicer, a kettle and a toaster. The bathroom has a shower topped by a showerhead, two washbasins, a bidet, a hairdryer and a heated towel rack. There are also a washing machine and a dryer. The toilet is separate. Heat and hot water are both electric. For convenient travel around Paris the nearest metro stations are Hotel de Ville (lines 1 and 11) and Chatelet (lines1, 4, 7and 11).
