Neighborhood: This furnished studio apartment is located on Rue Burq between Rue Durantin and Rue des Abbesses. The district of Montmartre and art are inseparable. At the end of the 19th century this area was a Mecca for artists, writers and poets. It has maintained its physical charm and village atmosphere. There are spectacular views of the city from various points, especially from the monumental Sacre-Coeur Basilica. There are all sorts of essential shops and services in the neighborhood, such as the picturesque fruit and vegetable market on Rue Lepic. Premises: This 20m² (approx. 215 sq. ft.) studio apartment is located on the sixth (7th in the USA) and top floor of a 1910 walk up building. The entrance gate is protected by a coded security system and opens into a corridor. Then there is a second door also protected by a coded system that leads to a courtyard and to the staircase. The apartment opens into the main room with the bathroom on your right, followed by the open kitchen. The main room has parquet floor and a window overlooking the courtyard. It is furnished with a double size sofa bed, a small dining table with two chairs and a stool. There are also a console and a built in closet. The open kitchen is equipped with two electric plates, an oven,a refrigerator and a toaster. It also has a double glazed window. The bathroom is fitted with a washbasin, a chemical toilet and a shower. There is also a flatiron and a hair-dryer. Heat and hot water are electric and individual.
