Once home to Victor Hugo and Molière, this neighborhood now hosts famous faces such as Céline Dion, former President Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife Carla Bruni, who own a house in Villa Montmorency, an exclusive gated community located 1.4 km (0.9 miles) away from your studio. Take advantage of your stay in this part of town to experience authentic French cuisine. Walk 650 meters (0.4 miles) west and you will find Le Relais d'Auteuil, with an excellent wine-list counting about 1200 bottles! In Auteuil and its neighboring Passy, you will also find lots of antique dealers selling jewelry and old furniture dating from various periods up to the French Revolution. For a Sunday picnic, a stroll or simply a place to relax, head to the huge Bois de Boulogne, a park that is 2.5 times larger than Central Park in New York, full of activities for everyone on weekends.
To explore other neighborhoods of Paris, take the M9 or M10 at the Michel-Ange Molitor Metro station. In as few as 6 stops you will be at the Trocadéro and the Palais de Chaillot, from where you can have a great view of the Eiffel Tower. 3 more stops on the M9 and you will be on one of the most beautiful avenue in the world, the Champs Elysées. This line interchanges with all but one of the 13 main Métro lines, allowing for you to go almost everywhere in Paris so you won't miss a thing that the City of Lights has to offer!
