You will find it on the 6th floor (7th for Americans) of an elegant building from the 19th century with elevator and a digicode. Located right on the quays of the Canal Saint Martin in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, this southern exposed apartment offers views of the canal itself, as well as unobstructed views on Paris' rooftops!

Modern amenities in this one bedroom apartment will make your stay comfortable, while wooden beams provide warm tones to make this contemporary space feel cozy! On the first level, the living room is furnished with a double leather sofa bed and has a flat screen TV with cable. The kitchen is open to a dining area and has all you might need to cook and enjoy your meals at home, including a modern oven / microwave combo, induction cooktop and the convenience of a dishwasher. Both of these rooms have southern exposed windows overlooking the Quai de Jemmapes. On the same floor, the bathroom has a glass shower and a towel drying rack. Going up to the mezzanine level you'll find the sleeping area, with its double bed and ceiling lights. Please note that the ceiling height in the bedroom only reaches approximately 1.65 m (5"4') at its highest point. This apartment also features a washing machine.

Located at Quai de Jemmapes and Rue du Faubourg du Temple, along the tree-lined Canal Saint Martin, you will appreciate the 10th arrondissement's pitturesque atmosphere, far from the tourist crowds. Hip boutiques, wine bars and many eateries abound in the area, especially on both sides of the canal. Here are some spots that we suggest you check out during your stay in this neighborhood:

• Quays of the canal: walk up your street and you will find many dining spots and hidden gems from new shops and hip brand new cafés and old local favorites. Alternatively, cross the pedestrian bridge over to the Quai de Valmy and stop at one of its many cafés or bistros.
• Cruise on the Canal: a cruise offers a unique view of the canal and include a lively commentary of the hisory of northeastern Paris.
• Parc des Buttes Chaumont (1.5 km / .9 miles): its location on a rocky hill make it one of the greatest parks in Paris! From there you'll have great panoramic views over Paris including the Sacré Coeur.
• République (300m / .2 miles): more than a transit hub, République is also one of the largest squares in Paris and hosts the Statue of the République in the center. It is surrounded by many bars, restaurants and cafés, making it a major gathering point for the young crowds.

A major advantage of this apartment is the easy access to public transportation. Line 11 at Goncourt will take you to the heart of the city in only 4 stops, and the République station is served by 4 other lines that run almost everywhere in Paris. From there you will be only 2 and 3 stops away from Gare De L’Est and Gare Du Nord respectively, two of Paris' main railway stations with high speed train service to other cities in France as well as international destinations.
