Live in the historic center of Paris in this fully furnished two bedroom apartment, located on the third floor (considered the fourth floor in the US) of an elevator building near the corner of the rue de Condé and the rue des Quatres Vents in Paris’s sixth arrondissement.
The epitome of old-world class, this apartment boasts gorgeous parquet flooring, large French windows and a combination of vintage and modern furniture. The living room is airy, with several small sofas and a flat screen television, as well as a fireplace and a writing desk. A separate dining room has a table with space for six and a display case with books and dishes. The adjacent separate kitchen has all the necessities, including a fridge with freezer, oven, stovetop with 4 burners, microwave and dishwasher.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed and a writing desk, with a rug covering some of the hardwood floor. Bedroom 2 is perfect for kids, with two single (twin) beds, a table and large windows.
Literally at the heart of Paris, the Odeon area and the neighboring Latin Quarter are some of Paris’s best-known neighborhoods. Here are just some of the many activities possible:
- Long the intellectual hub of the city, Odéon is home to cafés like Le Procope (150m/482ft), famously frequented by Voltaire and other philosophes.
- For a taste of the history of the area, check out the Fontaine and Church of Saint-Sulpice (450m/.3mi), made famous by The Da Vinci Code.
- On sunny days, enjoy the sun in Paris’s Central Park, the Jardin de Luxemburgo, also home to the French Senate and a number of important sculptures and fountains.
From this central location right next to St. Germain and St. Michel, it’s just a quick trip to any part of Paris on the metro. The nearest station to you is Odeon (210m/.1mi).

Everything about my experience was excellent. The apartment was even lovelier than I had expected and the owners were exceptionally lovely. The only two minor issues were that the bar on the ground floor of the building stays open until well after 1:00 a.m. and occasionally (not always) there was a lot of noise. Also, the wi-fi signal was not particularly strong and worked well only in the bedroom. However, these are truly minor complaints in an overall, wonderful experience. |
