Calm and Bright two bedroom apartment in Quartier Latin

Situated in the crossroad of a very little and silent street and a larger busy street between Rue Linne and Rue Jussieu. The apartment is located on the 4th French floor of a walk-up building from the 17th century, that has a security code. The front of the building has been renovated in Spring 2004. This southeast exposed 75m2 apartment is bright, faces the calm street, and has bedding for four people. The apartment's door is an armoured door. The whole apartment is painted white having a herringbone patterned wooden floor in the living room and master bedroom, and a hall connecting with all the other rooms. Enlighten by three large double glazed windows with outside wooden shutters on the street side the 24m2 living room encloses a brown leather sofa and a green velvet armchair facing a rectangular coffee table, a round wooden dining table with wooden chairs. Besides there is a TV with DVD and VCR set down on a chest, and a Hi Fi stereo two decorative fireplaces, one of them placed between small recessed shelves and surmounted by a large mirror with a sculpted white frame. Open to the living room the kitchen has a wooden countertop on which is settled the stainless steel sink and white cupboards above and below containing the utensils. It is equipped with a 4 gas burners stove and oven, a hood with exhaust fan, a micro wave, a fridge, a freezer, and a dishwasher. The 14m2 master bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a built in mirror' doors closet, two small tables, a recessed bookcase, a decorative fireplace, lamps, and two windows with outside wooden shutters. The 13m2 guest's bedroom has two single beds that can be made as a double size bed. Here the floor is covered with blue linoleum and there is a white cast iron fireplace (out of use), a built in closet, recessed little shelves, and a window on the silent courtyard side. Linens are provided. White tiled and painted the first bathroom has a bathtub tub with showerhead, a washbasin with a mirror above and a cabinet below, a washing machine/dryer combo, toilet, and a large window. The second bathroom has a glass shower cabin, a washbasin with a cabinet below, toilet, and a little window. There is a high speed internet connection. In this area also known as Quartier Latin are some of the most famous Universities and high schools such as Jussieu, La Sorbonne, Lycee Louis le Grand, and Lycee Henri IV. Several parks dot the neighborhood such as the Jardin des Plantes with its nice National Museum of Natural History, and the large, beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg with its magnificent alleys and pool. In the neighborhood there are all sorts of entertainment and services such as cinemas, fashion stores, nice restaurants, and cafes. The closest metro station is Jussieu (line 7).
