Ezquisite Split Level Apartment

Exquisite split level apartment in the Beaubourg/Les Halles quarter between Rue des Petites Carreaux and Rue Dusssoubs.
This spacious 72m2 one bedroom split level modern apartment is located on the first French floor of a converted 19th century convent The apartment faces southeast having a security code system and an elevator on premises. The apartment has been entirely remodeled and can accommodate two people.
The layout is as follows: main entry leads straight up to the living room/dinning room follow by an open sitting room/bedroom to the right. Back to the main entry- the kitchen is to the right side and the second bathroom is off the sitting/bedroom area. A circular staircase leads to the mezzanine level, opening to the bedroom follow by a small open study area and ending with the main bathroom. The décor is mostly modern with a touch of antiques.
The stylish 35m2 living room is furnished with a round glass dinning table with 3 upholstery chairs, a sofa, two leather armchairs, a rectangular coffee table, two floor lamps, an antique round table, an oriental carpet, two built is closets with old doors and other decorative items. The open 9m2 sitting room/bedroom is furnished a double sofa bed, an oriental area carpet, a compact stereo system, a medium TV with cabinet and two wall lamps. The walls are off white with high ceilings, the floor is carpeted in a straw fiber material and there are three windows (nearly 3meters high) with linen curtains overlooking the garden and courtyard.
The separate kitchen is equipped with an electric stove 4-burners with exhaust fan, an electric oven, a refrigerator/freezer, a microwave, a coffee maker, a toaster, an electric water boiler, a stainless steel sink, a dishwasher and a washing machine. There are built in closets, cabinets, and drawers containing the necessary kitchen utensils and a cordless telephone. The walls and floor are tiled in a cream color and there is a small window.
The second bathroom has a sink with upper mirror and lower cabinet, a shower cabin protected by sliding doors, an electric towel rack, built in shelves and a toilet. The walls and floor have light gray marble tiled. The upstairs open 14m2 bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, overhead shelf with two small lamps, two built in closets, a lacquer high chair and an area carpet.
The upstairs open study is furnished with a desk, a reading lamp, a revolving office chair and an area carpet. The walls are off white, the floor is carpeted in a straw fiber material and there is a window cover by fabric curtains. The upstairs main bathroom has a bathtub with manual showerhead, a sink with mirror above it; two built in closets, an electric towel rack, a separate mirror and a toilet. The walls and floor have light gray marble tiled.
This Right Bank area is dominated by the modernistic Forum de Halles and the Pompidou Centre. All roads round Les Halles resolutely lead to the Beaubourg area and the Pompidou Centre, an avant-garde structure and one of Paris's most visible buildings. Les Halles, was known for its meat, vegetable and fruit market dating back to 1183, traffic congestion forced the market to move to the suburbs in the 1960s. The lively Rue Montorgueil is what remains of the old Les Halles market; it has been restored to its former glory. There are all sorts of essential shops and services in the neighborhood.
The closet metro station is Sentier line 3.
