The apartment is located in a residential and commercial district within walking distance to the Cimetiere du Pere Lachaise- Paris's most prestigious cemetery. Here were buried celebrities such as Frederic Chopin, Edith Piaf and Jim Morrison. It is also not far from the historic Place de la Bastille with the Opera de Paris, which was inaugurated for the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution. This area is re-known for museums, art galleries and antique shops. There are all sorts of essential shops and services in the neighborhood.
