Charming One bedroom under the roofs
|
This is a charming one bedroom apartment on the 6th floor of a well maintained building from the 18th century, having an elevator and a concierge. It is located rue Du Regard between Rue du Cherche Midi et Rue de Rennes.
This bright, comfortable apartment is calm and silent due to the fact that it is on the last floor. It is East and West exposed.
Some of the walls are white painted and the others are covered with light salmon China Straw. There is seagrass carpet on the floor.
The whole apartment is 65 square meters and is divided as follows:
There is a little hall where the elevator arrives directly. The appartment has air conditioning.
The stylish 35m2 living room has a bamboo sofa, its matching armchairs and coffee table, a fireplace, a built in sofa and a phone. There is also a wooden dinning table with its four matching chairs. There are several kinds of lamps and decorative items and furniture such as a mirror and paintings all over the room. It has 4 windows with shutters.
A high speed Internet connection is available.
The 12m2 bedroom has a double bed, a large built in closet, a chest of drawers and a cable TV with VCR. It has also one window with shutters.
It is separate from the living room by curtains.
The large kitchen is separate. All appliances are provided including 4 gas burners, an electric oven, a refrigerator/freezer, a washing machine, a microwave, a sink and plenty of cupboards with green doors.
The bathroom is white tilled and there is a tub with shower, a washbasin surrounded by a mirror. It is separate from the bedroom with a blind.
The WC is separate.
This apartment is located in a calm street close to the busy and commercial street, Rue de Rennes.
Less than a 5-minute walk is the Montparnasse station and the Maine Tower which is the highest skyscraper in France.
This area has all sorts of bars, shops, restaurants and cinemas. Very close is also the oldest and the most parisian department store, 'Le Bon Marché'.
At 10 minutes walk, is the Jardin du Luxembourg, where you can go for long walks. At a longer walking distance, you have the Musée du Louvre with famous Paintings and sculptures, Notre Dame Cathedral, which was started in 1163 by Louis IX, resembling the first Gothic church.
It is also near the Invalides and the Musée d'Orsay.
The apartment is also very close to the metro. The closest metro station is Rennes (line 12) and the RER station is Montparnasse-Bienvenue.
