Quiet Studio
|
This calm studio is situated between Rue des Pyrenees and Bd de Belleville in a bustling and multicultural area.
This apartment is located just North of the center of Paris in the Belleville neighborhood. Communicating with the Menilmontant area which still keeps the charm of the old Paris being close to Rue Oberkampkf and its diverse trendy restaurants, nightclubs and bars having been set up over the past few years. Not far is the Parc des Buttes Chaumont, the largest park of Paris which architecture also consisting on a 32m high cascade ornamented with a cave and artificial stalactites was finished for the 1866'World Fair. Points of interest such as the Marais area, the Louvre Museum, or the Seine River, in the heart of Paris, are in 10 to 15 minutes by metro from the apartment.
An open market, ethnic Asian and North African restaurants and food stores line the pavements of the neighborhood.
This studio apartment is located on the ground floor of a 1940's building. Recent renovations have been done in the building, which is protected with a security system at the entrance gate only at night and an intercom with direct connection to the apartment.
This 27m2 studio is southeast exposed and opens into a courtyard.
The walls are white painted and there is a natural fiber wall-to wall carpeting except in the kitchen, bathroom, and separate toilet areas.
A small entrance opens to the 23m2 living room and sleeping areas. There are two regular windows and a bay window with sliding which bring day light into the space. The bay window has an electrical blind outside and curtains from the inside, the two other windows have basic shutters and curtains.
This room is furnished with a sofa bed (140 wide), and by its side a small piece of furniture with drawers and a wooden trunk. Facing this corner is a wooden chest of drawers, a leather armchair and a TV, a DVD player and VCR.
The sliding doors lead to the 5m2 exterior terrace where a table and three chairs are available.
Separating the entrance from the bedroom area is a piano with a chair, a shelves unit and a stereo system.
There are a few ethnic decorative items in this room too such as rugs and others.
The eat-in open kitchen is tiled and equipped with a small fridge, a gas oven (to be used with a gas bottle) and four gas burners, a microwave, a coffee machine and a toaster. There is also a stainless sink and all the necessary utensils.
The charming bathroom has an original design with blue tiles for the shower and white tiles for the rest. It has also a washbasin surmounted by a mirror.
Adjacent is a separate toilet, which can be locked with a door.
There is no washing machine in the apartment but there are a lot of laundries in a walking distance from the building.
A High speed wireless connection is available.
The nearest metro station is Belleville (line 11&2).
