Neighborhood: This furnished one bedroom duplex apartment is located on Rue de Popincourt between Boulevard Voltaire and Rue de la Roquette. Situated between Rue de la Roquette and Rue Richard Lenoir, this furnished apartment is in the heart of the famous and trendy Bastille area (Rue de Lappe, Rue de la Roquette, etc.). It is within about 10 minutes walking distance from the Place des Vosges and close to the Place de la Bastille. The Opera Bastille is considered one of the best opera houses in the world. In the immediate vicinity of this accommodation are numerous shops, restaurants and cafes, supermarkets and markets, such as the well-known Parisian market Rue Richard Lenoir (Thursday and Sunday mornings). Premises: This 40m2 (approx 430 sq ft) one bedroom duplex apartment is located on the first floor of a 20th century walk up building. The entrance gate opens into a courtyard. Then a second gate opens into the staircase. The apartment opens into the living room and the open kitchen. The living room with air conditioning has a window with western exposure overlooking the courtyard. It is furnished with a sofa, armchairs, a coffee table, a console surmounted by a TV with cable, a DVD player, a VCR, a stereo, a phone, a desk surmounted by a computer with internet (wireless), a chest of drawers and some shelves. The open kitchen with a little counter is equipped with two induction plates, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator, a freezer, a coffee maker, a mixer and a toaster. There is also a washing machine. The bedroom situated with the bathroom in the second floor has a skylight window with northern exposure overlooking the courtyard. It is furnished with a double size bed, a bedside table, a chest of drawers, a TV with DVD player, a closet and some shelves. The bathroom has a shower and a washbasin. The toilet is separate. The owner can provide an extra double mattress for short term rentals. Heat and hot water are both by heat pump.
